CAIRO – 25 October 2022: The Egyptian government launched the “Cairo Bike” project in Cairo, to incorporate Downtown, Garden City and Zamalek.

The primary phase of the project accommodates 25 stations and lots of of bikes available for rent in Downtown through a chosen application. The hourly price starts from L.E1.

 

 

 

 

The project goals to encourage residents to make use of sustainable transportation, reduce traffic congestion and air pollution. It’s one among the federal government’s sustainable initiatives, coinciding with the Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Conference [COP27] set for November.
