The Green Party of Ontario has announced that Bruno Sousa has been nominated as its candidate for the Oakville Riding ahead of the 2022 provincial election.
The party described Sousa as a green entrepreneur, seasoned business owner and long-standing member of the Oakville community.
“Bruno has contributed to the Oakville community as an entrepreneur, business owner and proud father,” said Ontario Green Party Leader Mike Schreiner.
“He’s a frontrunner in the brand new climate economy and can help Oakville seize the chance of fine, green jobs.”
Sousa noted climate motion is job motion.
“Through green technology and accountable leadership, we will construct a more prosperous and sustainable Ontario,” he said.
The party said Sousa has also volunteered his time and abilities for several charities and non-profits within the Oakville community.
