Here's who's running in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex

With the Ontario General election exactly two weeks away, here’s who’s running in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.

Monte McNaughton of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario (PC) was first elected in 2011 and is searching for a fourth term as Member of Provincial Parliament.

McNaughton was born in Newbury, where his family owned and operated an area shopping centre.

He was named as Ontario Minister of Labour, Training, Skills Development in 2019 and former served as Minister of Infrastructure.

The married father of 1 graduated from Westervelt College and accomplished executive programs on the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Vanessa Benoit is running for the Recent Democratic Party (NDP).

The community advocate from Alvinston is a library employee, singer-songwriter and music editor.

Benoit has served on the panning committee of the Alvinston Arts and MusicFest and the Friends of A.W. Campbell Park.

Wanda Dickey is running for the Green Party of Ontario (GPO).

Dickey, originally from Newfoundland, moved to Innisfil within the 80s and now resides in Strathroy.



David Barnwell is running for the Recent Blue Party of Ontario (NB).

Barnwell, born in Chatham, grew up in Brampton and currently resides in Ilderton.

He has been working in telecommunications as a security consultant for over 13 years.

Baker is a politics, philosophy and economics graduate of Queen’s University.

Eve is the Owner/Operator of Total RE Investment Management.

He has been within the business for 29 years, managing each residential and business properties, in addition to completing renovations and repairs.


Aaron Istvan Vegh is running for the Ontario Party (OP).

The Ontario Party was founded in 2018 and is led by Derek Sloan.
