Research by the David Suzuki Foundation has shown that the Lower Mainland’s wetlands are some of BC’s most valuable ecosystems, providing essential ecological services like flood protection, water filtration and carbon storage. On June 28th and 29th, the David Suzuki Foundation is hosting a Wetlands Leadership Forum. We are seeking a friendly, skilled photographer to help us capture the key portions of the leadership forum.
Deliverables:
•Team portraits of participating organizations
•Images of the training program while in session
•Provide selection of digital images to DSF and edit as required
Skills and Knowledge Required:
•Professional level skill in digital photography
•Must be able to provide his/her own equipment
•Ability to take initiative and work independently
•Personable and outgoing
•Commitment to the Foundation’s mission
Reports to:
•Aryne Sheppard, Senior Public Engagement Specialist
Time Commitment:
•5 hours during event plus time for editing
•Thursday, June 28th
Venue:
•VanDusen Gardens (5251 Oak Street Vancouver)
Organizational Support:
All volunteers will be oriented to the Foundation. DSF staff will meet all volunteers at the event for orientation, and be available throughout the evening.
