Samsung Canada, proud partner of the Canadian Olympic Team, will be kicking off the Samsung Passion for E-Recycling Challenge in Edmonton, Alberta tomorrow.
Held during National Waste Reduction Week, this exciting initiative is designed to help jump-start community efforts to safely and responsibly recycle electronic waste. Through this program, over $50,000 in Samsung technology grants will be donated to participating Edmonton public schools and community organizations.
A component of Samsung’s global “Hope for Children” initiative, the Samsung Passion for E-Recycling Challenge urges Edmonton schools, communities and residents to gather up their outdated electronics and bring them to designated collection venues or to public schools registered to participate in the challenge.
