JCM Aligns with Panasonic To Launch Commercial Scale, Solar Energy Financing and EPC Program in Ontario, Canada

JCM Capital announced on May 10 signing of an agreement with Panasonic Eco Solutions Canada Inc. to combine JCM’s financial network expertise with Panasonic’s bankable solar products and services. This announcement follows a previous announcement of Panasonic Eco Solutions to start manufacturing of solar panels under its own name at Celestica, an OEM solar panel manufacturer in Ottawa.
The agreement is expected to facilitate the deployment of over 120 MW of commercial rooftop and groundmount solar PV projects across Ontario over a two-year period, with an initial focus on 5 MW of JCM’s commercial rooftop projects, which already have FIT contracts. Panasonic’s solar PV modules manufactured in Ontario, will be featured throughout all of the designated projects.
