In the recent months, many political pundits and pollsters have been focusing solely on the BC NDP and the Liberals. However, there seems to be a Green tide rising and some political scientists are saying that the Green Party has a chance to win in the Victoria-area ridings. In 2011, many people were telling federal Green Party leader Elizabeth May that she could not win in her Victoria-area riding of the Saanich-Gulf Islands, but her last minute victory proved all the naysayers wrongs. In this upcoming election, the provincial Greens are the ones to watch in the two ridings: Oak Bay-Gordon Head and Saanich North and the Islands.  Today Simi speaks with Jane Sterk, leader of the BC Green Party, about her party and their chances in the upcoming election.
